Intro

Hi! I’m Kate. I am originally from North Carolina and after traveling around a bit, I ended up in New York City teaching 2nd grade at a charter school in Harlem. I’ve been here ever since adjusting to city life (really just trying to figure out how to do laundry and get groceries while walking up 4 flights of stairs), switching jobs, meeting my incredible husband and now expecting our first child in July. It has been a whirl wind between graduating from University of South Carolina 6 years ago, to teaching English in Thailand, living in Vermont working as wedding photographer, and moving to the Big Apple I’ve been through hard times, and fun times and am getting ready for this next adventure. I’m starting this blog as a way to document our lives and help other 20 somethings get through this thing called life.
